Life
Life is one big rollercoaster. There are ups/downs and many twists. I found myself having grown both personally and professionally through my life experiences. I must say there would not be much I would change if I had the chance. I had the opportunity to leave home and travel w/in the states for my profession before settling down in Tampa, FL. I fly home when I can. I keep in touch w/ friends from all across the nation and in Austrailia too. I am blessed to have a wonderful loving husband and a beautiful teenage daughter (and a sweet King Charles Spaniel too). I was blessed awesome bosses and jobs over the years especially my current job at Bank of America as a Sr Operations Specialist in Research (5 1/2 yrs). (I worked 3 1/2 yrs at DeMars Children's Home in Coon Rapids, and 11 years in Occupational Therapy in MN, MO,TX, & FL). Those of you who knew me in high school and college...the answer is yes...I still keep in touch w/Sean (he is out in Oregon now). I also keep in touch w/ many other important people in my life from those days (Val, Gladys, Patti, Paul, Lonnie, Mrs Solomonson, Molly...to name a few). If I could have 1 wish c...Expand for more
ome true in regards to my old school days would be: to have a renunion for each school...ie Hoover Elem, Univ Ave Elem, Northdale Jr High, and Coon Rapids....Friends I made at each of these schools were at many times different at each one....we did not all go to the same schools all the way through. Univ and Northdale would be 2 awesome renunions!!! (especially if they were for the entire years we were there ie 1973-1979 and 1979-1982!!!) I always wondered what happened to many of those whom did not attend my high school (from Hoover, Univ, and Northdale). Always remember 2Cor5:7!!!! LB :0)
UPDATE: Although I am no longer able to physically work (since 5/04) I keep myself busy with advocating/educating about Lupus & Rheumatoid Arthritis as well as being a support for others especially those newly diagnosed.
